Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

HOLY. CRAP.

THAT, was the longest week of my entire life, it felt like a month...I don't even know how I'm still alive. NEVER GO VOLUNTEERING IN SUMMER CAMPS HAHAHA

SO HI guys, I totally forgot to mention that this week I was volunteering at a Science Camp (don't judge me...) everyday this week from 8 t'il 4. (so basically I was out at 7 and back home at 5:30)

YEAH NO LIFE, not time to check messages, no time to sleep or eat normally. and no time to comment or be active or draw. BUT IT'S OVER NOW.

but uggghhh omg I lost a bag there today,(I was supposed to go return something to the mall, so I just brought it with me) but when I was finally in the store, I just....didn't have it.

AM I DUMB OR WHAT. Yes, yes I am. I like to tell myself it's because I was super busy, super tiered, my head wasn't completely there, they where making us volunteers run around everywhere, BUT STILL MAN. There is NO excuse,who the hell looses bags with receipts and clothes in them? ME.
ARRGGGHHH, I'm such a bumbass, I don't know what to do with myself...

Now, I'm pretty anxious, cause my parents are going to be pretty mad when they find out.

BUT YEAH ANYWAYS, how have you guys all been? I can't feel my feet.

Hopefully a security guard picked it up, I was in the mall and left an expensive set DVDs on a table, I was freaking out because I even had to call HMV's customer service to get it and stuff, but an employee found it and recognized me 8D So hopefully you'll have the same luck <3
